Asesinado Facundo Cabral : United Socialist Party of Venezuela PSUV on Monday declared regret for the murder of singer Facundo Cabral, who died in Guatemala on Saturday in an attack as he left the hotel he was staying to the airport.
In a press conference at party headquarters, Aristobulo Isturiz, Chairman of the PSUV said "the sadness felt by Latin Americans for the death of" the music of Argentina.

Earlier, President Hugo Chávez had also expressed his condolences over the death of Montilla, who was part of his cabinet between 1999 and 2000.
Facundo Cabral, shot dead on Saturday in Guatemala, were sent on Monday night in a plane of the Mexican Air Force back to his country, where they will be cremated without a viewing.
The plane left the airport of the Guatemalan Air Force, on the southern outskirts of the capital, near the local 19H00 (01H00 GMT), after the coffin was carried in a funeral procession.
The remains of the singer were dismissed, among others, by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Guatemala, Erick Maldonado, and on the plane traveled Culture Minister, Hector Escobedo, and the Director of Protocol at the Foreign Ministry, Veronica Grajeda.
On the way to the funeral to the airport, which lasted over 15 minutes, dozens of people parted with tears, applause and the remains of the minstrel, who gave two concerts last week in the capital and Quetzaltenango west.
